The latest version of Makita’s popular 40mm AVT rotary hammer drill delivers a massive 25% increase in impact power with an even larger 30% reduction in vibration rating. Impact energy of the new Makita HR4013C is increased to 7.6 Joules whilst the vibration rating in hammer-only action is ultra-low at 4.5m/sec² and in rotary hammer drilling mode an equally impressive 5.0m/sec². The new Makita HR4013C SDS max rotary hammer will punch a 40mm hole in concrete and with a 1,000 watt motor that will run up to 500rpm without load, this machine will generate up to 2,900 blows per minute for 7.6 Joules of impact energy. This represents a 25% increase over the popular HR4011C model that it supersedes. The latest application of Makita’s patented AVT, anti - vibration technology, features the latest version of the body design that completely insulates the grip handles from the motor and transmission section of the machine. The dynamic vibration absorber has also been improved and the larger damper spring cuts the reaction force when the drill bit hits the substrate.
